    Job Improvement Update

This is a comprehensive overhaul of more than 290 skills, to deliver an overall job/class improvement!
It includes several skill revamps, improvements, convenience changes, skill removals and a few new skill additions.

Several 3rd class skills also recieved brand new visual effects, which are mostly not stated in these patch notes but we're sure you're going to be able to discover them along the way!
Please also note that our Wiki does not yet reflect any of these skill changes and updates.

    Archbishop

1. Judex

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (300 + (70 x skill level))%Matk.


2. Renovatio

  • Increases max level from 1 to 4.
  • Increases HP recovery amount that depends on skill level. HP recovery amount per 5 seconds : (4 + skill level)% of MaxHP.
  • Duration depends on skill level.  Duration : (60 + (30 x skill level)) seconds.


3. Adoramus

  • Adjusted cooldown from 2.0 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
  • No longer inflicts damage to anyone inside the range of Adoramus while interacting with Land Protector.
  • The AoE is now 7x7 for levels 1-6 and 11x11 for levels 7-10.
  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (300 + (250 x skill level))%Matk.
  • If user consumes Ancilla, changes the skill property to neutral for the Ancilla duration.

 

 

    High Priest


1. Basilica

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 9 seconds to 1 second (on level 5).
  • Adds 3 seconds variable casting time.
  • Reduces delay after skill from 6 seconds to 1 second (on level 5).
  • Adds 30 seconds cooldown.
  • Reduces SP consumption from 120 to 80 (on level 5).
  • Increased duration to 60s at lvl1 up to 180s at lvl5. New Formula: (30+30 x skill level)
  • Changes skill mechanism, increases holy property magical damage and increases physical damage against shadow and undead property monsters of the user for the duration.
    Magical damage bonus : (3 x skill level)%. Physical damage bonus : (5 x skill level)%.


2. Assumptio

  • Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 seconds to 0.5 seconds (on level 5).
  • Changes skill mechanism, increases target's HardDef and incoming heal effectiveness for the duration.
    HardDef bonus : (50 x skill level). Incoming heal effectiveness : (2 x skill level)%.
  • The skill can be used with Kyrie Eleison and Praefatio.

 

 

    Priest


1. Magnus Exorcismus

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 3 seconds to 1 second.
  • Reduces variable casting time from 12 seconds to 4 seconds.
  • Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 seconds to 1 second.
  • Adds 6 seconds cooldown.
  • Changes to deal damage to all race enemies.
  • Deals 130%Matk per hit (up from 100%Matk) to demon race / undead race / shadow property / undead property enemies.
  • Added missing bonus damage skillratio calculation

2. Mace Mastery

  • Increases Cri per skill level, Cri + (skill level).


3. Suffragium

  • Changes skill mechanism, reduces variable casting time, without limit count, of the user and nearby party members for 60 seconds.
    Variable casting time reduction : (5 + (5 x skill level))%
  • Is now a self cast skill that applies to the party in a 31x31 area, including self.
  • Adds 0.5 seconds fixed casting time.
  • Adds 1 second variable casting time.
  • Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 1 second.
  • Adds 30 seconds cooldown.
  • Animations no longer play for party members who are within skill range but outside of visible viewing range.


4. Imposito Manus

  • Changes skill mechanism, increases Atk and Matk to the user and nearby party members for 120 seconds.
    Atk and Matk bonus : (5 x skill level)
  • Adds 0.5 seconds fixed casting time.
  • Adds 1 second variable casting time.
  • Reduces delay after skill from 3 seconds to 1 second.
  • Adds 30 seconds cooldown.
  • Animations no longer play for party members who are within skill range but outside of visible viewing range.
  • Corrected AoE size and SP consumption


5. Magnificat

  • Animations no longer play for party members who are within skill range but outside of visible viewing range.
  • Corrected AoE size


6. Gloria

  • Animations no longer play for party members who are within skill range but outside of visible viewing range.
  • Corrected the splash range


7. Lex Divina

  • Added a missing case for applying the Lex Divina status.

    Sura

1. Rising Dragon

  • Increases duration to (100 + (20 x skill level) seconds.
  • Changes MaxHP/MaxSP bonus to (skill level)%, removes HP draining on skill duration and HP/SP recovery penalty.


2. Sky Blow

  • Improves damage formula. New damage formula : (200 x skill level)%Atk.


3. Dragon Combo

  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (100 + (80 x skill level))%Atk, increases cast range from 1 cell to 2 cells.


4. Fallen Empire

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • Reduces SP consumption.
  • From level 6. Reduces Spirit Sphere consumption from 2 to 1.
  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (100 + (300 x skill level))%Atk. Immobilized duration : 0.5 seconds (level 1~2) / 1 second (level 3~4) / 1.5 seconds (level 5~6) / 2 seconds (level 7~8) / 2.5 seconds  (level 9~10).
  • Removes immobilize inflicting effect, removes bonus damage from target's carrying weight (size for monsters).
  • Increases cast range from 1 cell to 2 cells.


5. Tiger Cannon

  • Changes the skill logic. The skill becomes self cast, no longer require target.
    The skill will deal damage to the surrounding enemies.
  • Weapon property will apply to every damage that hit the enemies (Currently the skill deal pseudo-neutral property damage to main target then deal neutral property damage that has the same value as main damage to surrounding enemies).
  • Area of effect : 5x5 cells (level 1~5) / 7x7 cells (level 6~10) around the user.
  • Reduces cooldown from 5 seconds to 3 seconds.


6. Flash Combo

  • Removes Sky Blow from the skills chain and reduces inaction time according to this change.
  • Reduces cooldown from 5 seconds to 3 seconds based on level 5.

7. Rampage Blast

  • Reduces sphere consumption from 5 to 3.


8. Lightning Ride

  • Reduces sphere consumption from (skill level) to 2 (The number of hit still be the same as skill level).
  • Reduces variable casting time to 1 second, reduces cooldown to 0.5 seconds.
  • Damage formula : (40 x skill level))%Atk.
    When equipping knuckle, increases damage to (90 x skill level))%Atk.


9. Lion's Howl

  • Reduces SP consumption to 70, reduces sphere consumption from 5 to 3.
  • Reduces area of effect. Area of effect : 5x5 (level 1~2) / 7x7 (level 3~4) / 9x9 (level 5). Removes fear inflicting effect.
  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (500 x skill level)%Atk, improves base level modifier from (base level/150) to (base level/100)


10. Knuckle Arrow

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • On level 1~5 the Spirit Sphere consumption has been reduced from 2 to 1.
    From level 6-10 the Spirit Sphere requirement is now 0.
     

11. Gate of Hell

  • Fixes SP damage bonus for levels 1-4 being too low caused by a rounding issue.
  • Is no longer reduced by long range modifiers.
  • Fixes the HP/SP damage for statusAtk and masteryAtk to properly apply the NK_IGNOREELEMENT flag when checking target players.

 

 

    Champion


1. Zen

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 2 seconds to 1 second.
  • Adds 1 second cooldown.


2. Raging Palm Strike

  • Changes damage formula. New damage formula : (200 + (100 x skill level))%Atk.
  • Deals additional damage depending on user's Str and base level.


3. Glacier Fist

  • Changes damage formula. New damage formula : (500 + (150 x skill level))%Atk.
  • Deals additional damage depending on user's base level.


4. Chain Crush Combo

  • Reduces spirit sphere consumption from 2 to 1.
  • Changes damage formula. New damage formula : (200 x skill level)%Atk.
  • Deals additional damage depending on user's base level.

 

 

    Monk

Adjusts size penalty of knuckle.
Old: small 100% / medium 75% / large 50%
New: small 100% / medium 100% / large 75%


1. Raging Trifecta Blow

  • Trigger chance is 30% on every skill level.


2. Raging Quadruple Blow

  • If user equips knuckle, increases damage (doubles skill damage and increases number of hit from 4 hits to 6 hits) and reduces SP consumption.

3. Asura Strike

  • When uses in combo, the skill can be used when there is 1 spirit sphere or more remains.
  • Increases damage by 100% when there are 6 spirit sphere or more remains.
  • Reduces SP recovery penalty duration from 10 seconds to 3 seconds.
  • Causes double damage when caster has 6 or more active spirit spheres.

4. Root

  • Effect duration is changed to 10 seconds.
  • Can be used on boss monster but the duration is reduced to 2 seconds.


5. Occult Impaction

  • Slightly increases damage.
  • Deals additional damage by 50% when used on target that user caught with Root.

6. Throw Spirit Sphere

  • Consumes 1 spirit sphere regardless skill level.
  • Slightly increases damage.
    New damage formula : (600 + (200 x skill level))%Atk
  • Deals additional damage by 50% when used on target that user caught with Root.

7. Spiritual Sphere Absorption

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.5 second.
  • Removes variable casting time.

    Ranger

1. Aimed Bolt

  • Increases fixed casting time to 1 second.
  • Reduces variable casting time by half.
  • Adds 1 second cooldown.
  • Lowered damage formula.
    New damage formula : (500 + (20 x skill level))%Atk.
    When Fear Breeze is active, increases damage to (800 + (35 x skill level))%Atk per hit.
  • Number of hit no longer depends on the immobilize status of target.
    Fixes number of hits to be 5 hits, fixes arrow consumption to 3 ea. (Skill Level independent)
  • Fixed SP consumption to 40 for every skill level.


2. Trap Research

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.


3. Arrow Storm

  • Adds fixed casting time by 0.3 seconds, reduces variable casting time to 2 seconds.
  • Unifies cooldown to 3.2 seconds regardless of skill level, increases SP consumption from 48 to 60 based on level 10.
  • Reduces arrow consumption from 10 to 5, changes area of effect to 9x9 cells.
  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (200 + (180 x skill level))%Atk.
    When Fear Breeze is active, increases damage to (200 + (250 x skill level))%Atk.


4. No Limits

  • Removes fixed 1 Def and 1 Mdef penalty.
  • Increases duration from 60 seconds to 150 seconds.

 

 

    Sniper


1. Focused Arrow Strike

  • Reduces delay after skill from 2.5 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
  • Reduces fixed casting time and variable casting time from 1 second to 0.5 seconds.
  • Increases cast range from 9 cells to 11 cells.
  • Increases critical chance.
  • Improves damage formula.
    New damage formula : (300 + (300 x skill level))%Atk.
  • Deals additional damage depending on user's base level.
  • Half of user's Cri chance is added to the skill base cri chance.
  • Changes from dealing damage to all enemies in straight line to dealing damage to nearby enemies within 5x5 cells around the target, reduces SP consumption from 30 to 24.


2. Falcon Assault

  • Changes damage formula.

 

 

    Hunter


1. Land Mine

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.3 second.
  • Adds 0.5 seconds variable casting time.


2. Claymore Trap

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.3 second.
  • Adds 0.5 seconds variable casting time.


3. Blast Mine

  • Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.3 second.
  • Adds 0.5 seconds variable casting time.


4. Blitz Beat

  • Changes damage formula factor to depend on Agi and Dex.
  • Auto Blitz Beat no longer split damage among multiple targets.

5. Remove Trap

  • Fixed an issue that resulted in traps to not being returned properly.

    1st Classes


1. Swordsman
1.1 Magnum Break

- Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
- Adds 2 seconds cooldown.


2. Merchant
2.1 Crazy Uproar
- Adds 0.5 seconds fixed casting time.
- Adds 1 second variable casting time.
- Changes skill mechanism, grants Str + 4 and Atk + 30 to the user and nearby party members.
- Adds 30 seconds cooldown.

2.2 Change Cart
- Can now only be casted while cart is active.
- Added new cart design that fits the new Mado Gear theme for the Mechanic Class.


3. Mage
3.1 Fire Bolt/ Cold Bolt/ Lightning Bolt
- Increases fixed casting time from 0.88 seconds to 1.2 seconds (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 3.52 seconds to 3.2 seconds (on level 10).
- Greatly reduces delay after skill.

3.2 Thunderstorm
- Reduces fixed casting time from 1.6 seconds to 1.5 seconds (on level 10).
- Reduces variable casting time from 6.4 seconds to 4.5 seconds (on level 10).

3.3 Fire Ball
- Fixed casting time and variable casting time of level 1-5 is changed to be the same as level 6-10 (0.2/0.8 seconds respectively)
- Reduces delay after skill to 0.7 seconds on every skill level.

3.4 Soul Strike
- Delay after skill is 1.4 seconds on every skill level (reduces from 2.5 seconds to 1.4 seconds on level 10).

3.5 Frost Diver
- Reduces delay after skill from 1.5 seconds to 0.5 seconds.

3.6 Safety Wall
- Has a hit count tracker again, just as pre-renewal.
- Updated HP formula.
- Now checks for Land Protector before attempting to consume a Blue Gemstone.


4. Acolyte
4.1 Blessing

- Also increases Hit by 2 per skill level (Also applies on Archbishop's Clementia too).

4.2 Increases Agility
- Also increases attack speed (reduces delay after attack by 1%) per skill level (Also applies on Archbishop's Cantocandidus too)

4.3 Angelus
- Also increases MaxHP by 50 per skill level.
- Animations no longer play for party members who are within skill range but outside of visible viewing range.
- Corrected the splash range

4.4 Holy Light
- Reduces fixed casting time and variable casting time by 50%.


5. Archer
5.1 Arrow Crafting
- Fixed Old Blue Box failing to be crafted into arrows.


6. Thief
6.1 Double Attack
- Increases the chance to trigger (from 5% per skill level to 7% per skill level).

    Expanded Classes


1. Ninja
1.1. Wind Blade

  • Wind Blade now only has a bonus of 10% instead of 20% per Wind Charm.

1.2. Shadow Leap

  • Cast range has been adjusted to 6-10 based on skill level.

1.3. Shadow Slash

  • Is now considered a melee attack.

 

2. Taekwon
2.1. Kihop

  • Multiplier value based on party member count doesn't include the party leader any longer. A party of 2 will now only get a bonus of 10% instead of 20%.

 

3. Star Gladiator
3.1. Lunar / Solar Protection

  • Fixed day calculation discrepancies that missmatched Lunar/Solar Protection activations.

 

4. Soul Linker
3.1. Estun

  • Now damages monsters of all sizes, but only stuns medium sized ones.

 

5. Kagerou & Oboro
5.1. Fire Charm

  • Increases Blaze Shield damage from 10% to 20% per 1 charm.
  • Increases Exploding Dragon damage from 15% to 100% per 1 charm.
  • If 10 Fire Charms are collected. No longer enchants weapon with fire property and adds the effect to increases physical damage against earth property enemies by 30%.


5.2. Ice Charm

  • Increases Freezing Spear damage from 5% to 20% per 1 charm.
  • Increases Snow Flake Draft damage from 25% to 100% per 1 charm.
  • If 10 Ice Charms are collected. No longer enchants weapon with water property and adds the effect to increases physical damage against fire property enemies by 30%.


5.3. Earth Charm

  • If 10 Earth Charms are collected. No longer enchants weapon with earth property and adds the effect to increases physical damage against wind property enemies by 30%.


5.4. Wind Charm

  • Increases Lightning Jolt damage from 15% to 20% per 1 charm.
  • Increases First Wind damage from 10% to 100% per 1 charm.
  • If 10 Wind Charms are collected.
    No longer enchants weapon with wind property and adds the effect to increases physical damage against water property enemies by 30%.


5.5. Swirling Petal

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10. Reduces delay after skill from 1 second to 0.5 seconds.
  • Adjusts variable casting time to 1.5 seconds regardless of skill level.
  • Cast range is 11 cells regardless of skill level.
  • Changes from ground skill to target skill.
  • Changes damage formula.
    Adjusts bonus damage from user's Agi and Dex to Str.
    Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.


5.6. Kunai Splash

  • Reduces kunai consumption from 8 to 2.


5.7. Cross Slash

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • Removed after cast delay.
  • Changes cooldown to 3.1 seconds on level 10.
  • Increases skill damage.
    New damage formula : (200 x skill level)%Atk.
    Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.


5.8. Kunai Explosion

  • Increases area of effect from 3x3 to 5x5.
  • Changes from ground skill to target skill.
  • Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.


5.9. Shadow Warrior

  • The skill will increase Kunai Explosion, Kunai Splash, Cross Slash and Swirling Petal damage by 20%.

 

6. Rebellion
Added some missing job stat bonuses.

6.1. Fire Dance

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10. Changes damage formula by reduces influence of Desperado skill level.
  • Increases skill damage.
    New damage formula : (200 + (100 x skill level))%Atk.
  • Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.
  • Now consumes 3 bullets.


6.2. Vanishing Buster

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • Reduces fixed casting time from 1 second to 0.7 seconds.
  • Adjusts variable casting time to 1 second.
  • Reduces cooldown from 2 seconds to 1 second.
  • Adds delay after skill by 1 second.
  • Changes damage formula.
    New damage formula : (1000 + (200 x skill level))%Atk.
    Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.


6.3. Hammer of God

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • Reduces cooldown from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.
  • Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds.
  • Change skill logic by no longer cast on random area when there is no marked target.
    The skill will cast on target and deal damage to target and nearby target.
  • Skill will deal additional damage against target marked by Crimson Marker and this additional damage also affects nearby target too.
  • Area of effect is increases to 7x7 on level 6~10.
  • Changes damage formula.
    New damage formula : (100 x skill level)%Atk per 1 coin consumed.
    Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.
  • Removes stun inflicting.


6.4. Dragon Tail

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.
  • Reduces cooldown from 5 seconds to 3.5 seconds.
  • Reduces delay after skill from 2 seconds to 1 second.
  • Change skill logic to target skill.
  • Skill will deal additional damage against target marked by Crimson Marker and this additional damage also affects nearby target too.
  • Changes damage formula.
    New damage formula : (500 + (200 x skill level))%Atk.
    Doubles damage on target marked by Crimson Marker.
    Damage will be increased depending on user's base level.

6.5. Round Trip

  • Increases max level from 5 to 10.  
  • Changes damage formula.
    New damage formula : (500 + (200 x skill level))%Atk.


6.6 Slug Shot

  • Fixed a Slug Shot condition missmatch where it did less damage to players than monsters instead of the other way around.


6.7 Quick Draw Shot

  • Fixed target selection issues. Quick Draw Shot and Weapon Blocking should be considered a combo and not end physical attacks when casting them.
  • SC_QD_SHOT_READY will no longer become active if the player has 193+ ASPD.
  • SC_QD_SHOT_READY will now end once Quick Draw Shot has been casted.


6.8 Heat Barrel

  • Has now a fixed ASPD bonus instead of following a variable rate.

 

 

7. Super Novice 2

  • Increases bonus HP gained from raising base level after level 100 from 5 to 50.
  • Increases bonus SP gained from raising base level after level 100 from 1 to 5.


7.1 Double Attack

  • Increases the chance to trigger (from 5% per skill level to 7% per skill level).


7.2 Removed skills

  • Removes 3 skills  from skill tree : Flasher, Sandman, Freezing Trap.


7.3 Added skills

  • 23 more skills are added to skill tree.
    There are 20 existing skills and 3 new Super Novice's exclusive skills.
  • 20 Added existing skills: Guard, Smite, Shield Boomerang, Fury, Zen, Aspersio, Magnificat, Lord of Vermilion, Storm Gust, Meteor Storm, Gank, Mug, Back Stab, Sightless Mind, Land Mine, Beast Bane, Poison React, Venom Dust, Venom Splasher, Repair Weapon.


7.4 New Skills

    Max level: 5
    Type: Passive
    Description: Extreme physical skill obtained through steady training.
    Increases MaxHP, MaxSP, Atk and incoming heal effectiveness.
    [Level 1]: Atk + 15, MaxHP + 350, MaxSP + 30, Increases incoming heal effectiveness by 2%.
    [Level 2]: Atk + 30, MaxHP + 7000, MaxSP + 60, Increases incoming heal effectiveness by 4%.
    [Level 3]: Atk + 45, MaxHP + 1050, MaxSP + 90, Increases incoming heal effectiveness by 6%.
    [Level 4]: Atk + 60, MaxHP + 1400, MaxSP + 120, Increases incoming heal effectiveness by 8%.
    [Level 5]: Atk + 100, MaxHP + 2000, MaxSP + 200, Increases incoming heal effectiveness by 10%.

    Description:  : Call the angel to save novice in the critical situation.
    Give the buff that recovers HP and SP to the user and party members within 15x15 cells around the user.
    Recovers 1000 HP and 350 SP per second for 20 seconds. Cooldown : 300 seconds.

    Summoner


1. Hide

  • Now removes active Hide state when changing maps to avoid equipment from being stripped due to the inability to change equipment while the status is active.


2. Hiss

  • Added missing x10 rate for perfect dodge calculations.


3. Power of Sea

  • Corrected max HP/SP bonus when investing more than 20 skill points.


Misc.

  • Dual-cast attacks like Bite, Silvervine Stem Spear, Scar of Tarou and Picky Peck now behave like Professor's Double Casting.
  • Fixed Spirit of Land and Catnip Powdering combo's perfect dodge bonus.

My Shield Spell maxes out at Level 3, how do I increase it to level 10?

Which level allows you to do damage?

I'm sorry about the confusion.
This major update consisted out of many different official skill updates, so all patch notes have been combined together.
It's possible that i've missed changes like these where updates have been reverted or removed again. Although i've tried my best to keep it as clean as possible.

I've fixed this specific note in our news. Thanks for pointing it out.
